I know you have heard this everywhere. But, I have welcomed this new year with a big burly hug. I have had sometime to self reflect and see what I would love to take control over in this new year. (Thoughts are extremely powerful and I would love to intensify my inner thoughts through my actions on a daily level. )
I took some great pictures of our New Years. Ones that captured the bliss and essence that is family and love. See, we had my mother, step-dad, brother, sister and her lovely boyfriend. If that was not enough fun we also opened our doors to his parents and sisters to join in on the festivities.
Like in Christmas, we like to make the food fun. Christmas was Cuban Sandwiches and New Year's Eve could not be left out of the cultural fun. We had a potluck style meal that was anything Asian. How cool is that? Our table was jammed packed with:
*Sushi
*Crab Wontons
*Meat Wontons
*Edamame
*Lettuce Wraps
and more.
Might I add everything was prepared with love, minus the Sushi- where I delivered it with love.
We rang in the New Year with hugs, champagne and FIREWORKS that were shot from
Family stayed over for a big sleepover and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
Much love for the New Year,
Nush
